I'm a full-time mummy

I received an email pitch from Gofavor  asking whether I would be interested to review some of their products and since they are OK with international bloggers, I proceeded to choose a few products of my choice from their website for my review! I was initially given the chance to choose 3 jewelry items from their product range but I managed to negotiate to review a clothing item and a jewelry item instead as I prefer to try more clothing items nowadays.

My feedback will be based on the 2 items I received for my review. Shipping by the way is fast and the customer service is excellent. I was given a tracking code in case I want to track the status and updates of my parcel. 

1) Fashion Cross Pendant Chain Necklace

I choose this necklace because I have always wanted a simple necklace with a plain small cross. The length of the necklace chain is a bit short for me too so it feels kind of tight, I prefer to wear necklace around 40cm length. As for the cross pendant, I like that it is simple looking and not too eye catching. Suits me just nice.

2) Sleeveless Round Neck Striped T-shirt Top

I chose this sleeveless cotton top as I like free size clothes and remembering some fashion tips I read sometime ago, horizontal stripes clothing makes a person look fatter (yes, I want to look fatter please!) and I like the Ferrari red color on this top as well. The top is light and the front is cotton while the back is chiffon-like material.

I was a bit surprised actually to see the back of the top as it is quite transparent and it does show your bra straps if you did not wear a camisole or light singlet underneath. When I checked back at the product page, I realised the model is wearing a camisole underneath. But in any case, I love this top and will definitely wear it again, with a camisole underneath of course!

In summary, the products are gorgeous, affordable and the company provides good shipping options especially for worldwide buyers but you do need to check the product description properly to ensure that the product is of good quality and practical.

I received an email from Applecrumby & Fish asking whether I would be interested to review one of the products range in their store and oh boy, who am I to say no to trying out awesome products for my family and I right?! So here goes my review for the "Putto Secret Liquid (Travel Size)":

This bottle is very easy to carry along since it is for travel size. It is almost 4 inch tall and you can just press the nozzle to spray out tiny amount of the secret liquid.

There is a subtle tinge of lemony/citrusy smell on the liquid which has a yellow tea-like color and it does not leave any oily feel on your skin after it dries up.

I read the product description that it provides effective relief and soothing on inflamed skin, dryness and itchiness. FYI, my 3.5 years old boy chewing on his finger nails (I am still looking for solutions to this, so if anybody have any recommendation please let me know!) and although I trim his nails every other day, he still finds way to chew them and it ends up with his nails being jagged and uneven, and he loves to scratch and wipe his face so, often I will find scratch marks on his face.

I decided to try out the Putto Secret Liquid on his face. It takes about a day over for his scratches to heal up. I find that this is good and keep the bottle near me at all times just so that I can immediately spray and apply some onto my kiddos' skin whenever I see any wounds or scratches on them. Good product!

Christmas is coming soon! We were just at IKEA few weeks ago, scouting for ideas of corporate gifts to be given to hubby's clients this year and the first thing that greeted us as we stepped into IKEA was the beautiful selection of dining sets and to be honest, I think the ideas this year is very creative and Christmas-sy!

Anyway it was such a pleasant surprise few days later as I was given an Ikea gift card to shop for whatever items in Ikea that could best fulfill my dream! I would also say that God hears my prayers as He sent my best buddy and her boyfriend to fetch me and my 2 kiddos to Ikea one fine day (I've been waiting for hubby to be free but he was really really really tied up with his work since early December)

We went to Ikea about 2pm and shopped around, looking for ideas and from then on, it was quite fast for me to come up with what I wanted: plates, bowls, glasses, cutleries. I was quite nervous when I had to choose the dinnerware as I was worried I have to follow the proper etiquette but then after discussing my worries with my buddy, we decided this is how we have our meals so I should do what I feel comfortable with, not for the sake of writing a review to please others but to write a review which is honest and from my heart and one that I am comfortable with.

So back to my review, I got on to choosing the plate and bowls in matching designs and colors. And then I decided to get a similar color paper napkin and glasses and a simple cutlery set.

I was trying so so so hard to locate the Smaska cutlery and tableware set (for my 2 kiddos) but I just could not find any of it, except a few which are demo units. In addition, I was also disappointed as I cannot get hold of the ORDENTLIG Place mat lilac which I feel would totally goes well with my selected items... Arghhhh!!

Anywhooooo, I've got to make do with what I can for now and ladies and gentlemen, here's how they all looked like after a little sweet and homey touch-up by yours truly... ehem, ehem... tadaaaaaaaaa!!

Now please excuse me if I arranged the cutleries wrongly as we don't have formal settings in how to arrange our fork, spoon and knife and we are usually the plate and bowl type of family so, you will not see the usual deep plate, server plate, etc etc... You know, the complete proper dinnerware setup. A quick check on Wikipedia got me more confused as there are so many different ways to arrange your cutlery! Anyway, I hope the way I arranged them is correct...

My arrangement: Plate layered with a piece of paper napkin followed with a bowl and top with another rolled and curled paper napkin in the center for decoration. Matching Skoja glass accompanying each dinnerware followed by 4 piece cutlery set arranged neatly around the plate. This is the front view of one of the dinnerware set against our wall...

I hope you guys enjoy my dream table setting for Christmas dinners! I love what I got and hope that my guests will too!
