Product Review - Beaudex Kids

~ Posted on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 7:43 AM ~

As a busy mum with 4 kiddos between 1.5year-old to 9-years old, I have started cutting down on doing product reviews to focus on our childcare and family life, home cooking, education, helping with hubby's administration site of the business and sharing informational articles on my FB fan page so I am only accepting and prioritizing products that can fit into our family dynamics (especially books on parenting or educational stuff, family products, something along those genre)! Today's post is my review on Beaudex Kids range of products.

About the company/products:

"We believe in providing the best for our children. As parents, we were seeking for a brand that appeals to the children A brand that would instill the importance of personal hygiene in them. We wanted products that were mild, gentle and safe for our children. We realised we were not alone in this search, and this inspired the creation of Beaudex Kids.

Beaudex Kids is a wellness brand built on strong family values: honesty, dedication and community. Our products must not just be safe for children, they must be accessible too. Quality and affordability is foremost on our minds, as we set out to empower people to live happy and healthy lives."

I received the following products for my review. Eye catching colour on each bottle with cute superhero illustrations that appeals to young children, for sure! FYI, the products are specially crafted to be mild, gentle and safe for children and there are free from paraben, SLE/SLS and soap. They are also developed using a combination of Oat milk, soymilk and rice milk to bring out the glow in our children's complexion.

Beaudex Kids

A quick feedback on the packaging of the products - I like the long slim nozzle on the bottles. You just need to lightly press with the palm of your hands to squeeze out the amount of liquid you required.

Beaudex Kids

The first product that my kiddos were so excited to try is the Bubble Bath. From time to time, our girls love playing in their bath tub and of course, I let them try this out and see how it goes. It smells good and made loads of bubble foam, which our girls enjoy playing with.

I personally love the Yogurt Body Wash as it smells so so good! I know cos' I use it sometimes hahaha...

Beaudex Kids

The Hair Shampoo is great as well and cleans the hair thoroughly without leaving any greasy residue behind. A little dab of the shampoo is enough for the job and my kiddos' hair smells good after that!

For the final product which is the Head-to-Toe Wash, I like a product that covers head to toe and the idea of one simple product that handles everything top to bottom so this is also regularly being use when my kiddos take their bath.

In summary, a wonderful range of products that is suitable for children to use, one that us parents won't have to worry about chemical ingredients etc... I'm thankful that we have been given the privilege to try them out!

Book Review - Reading Success for Minecrafters: Grades 3-4

~ Posted on Friday, March 23, 2018 at 11:39 AM ~

I have been cutting down on doing product reviews towards the last quarter of year 2016 to prepare for our coming 4th kiddo who was born in early November 2016 and I am currently only prioritizing reviewing products that can fit into our family dynamics (especially books on parenting or homeschooling stuff, family products, something along those genre)

However, as busy as I am with 4 kiddos, home cooking, taking care of hubby's administration site of the business and swamped up with managing my FB page and blog, I just can't say no to reviewing good books! Reading is my passion and coupled with books that are of parenting, children, family or religion or educational genre, all the more I gotta say yes!

We received the "Reading Success for Minecrafters: Grades 3-4" book which I had intended for our 9-year-old boy to use for his English reading materials. I have been giving him reading comprehension workbook to do everyday and this is something similar to what he has been doing so far, except, it is of his favourite Minecraft theme! Fun + learning = win-win!

The book covers topic like prefixes, suffixes, synonyms, antonyms, reading comprehension where the child reads the short stories given and look for main ideas and details, identifying cause and effect, and sequencing and more!

There are also answer keys at the back of the pages for reference.

Reading Success for Minecrafters

Overall, this is a fun and educational book to own especially if your child is an avid Minecraft fans.

I totally recommend this book!

We received the "Lucie Goose" book which I had intended for our 4.5-year-old girl to read. She is an emerging reader at this point, still need to be read to and can understand simple words. So far, she has been regularly insisting I read this book to her before she takes her afternoon naps. I read to her from front to end and we enjoy the storyline.

This is a funny and entertaining book about making friends and how all things work out well in the end. I like that Lucie Goose is not afraid of the things unseen / unknown and I reminded our girl that just because we have never seen or know something does not mean we have to fear it. I also taught our girl to be friendly like Lucie Goose and to always be polite and maintain good manners.

Lucie Goose

Overall, this is a really nice book to own.

A funny and quirky book about friendships and having good manners!

I totally recommend this book!
