The first time I came across this book was (months ago) when I saw it being mentioned in one of Book Sneeze newsletter that it will be made available for review request and by the time I login to the website, it's no longer available for review as the number of copies available were all taken up. I felt disappointed not being able to review this book as I'm really interested to find out what this little boy had to say about his experience in heaven.

So when I found out that there is the softcopy version available for review on netGalley, I immediately requested to review it even though this is for the kids version. Below is my review for the "Heaven is for Real for Kids: A Little Boy's Astounding Story of His Trip to Heaven and Back" book:

Description from the product page:
"Heaven is for real, and you are going to like it! Colton Burpo came back from his trip to heaven with a very important message: Jesus really, really loves children. In an effort to reach even more families with this eternally significant story, this runaway bestseller is now told from Colton—kid to kids! Children will receive the same comfort and assurance that so many adults have received from the trade book.

Beautifully illustrated under Colton's direction, he shares his experiences in first person and comments on things that will be important to kids. A letter to parents is included to guide them as they talk to their children about heaven. Scripture along with a Q&A section with answers from the Bible are also included in the book. "

This book is just 32 pages and is easy for me to read through in a few minutes. I love the beautiful illustrations in this book!

I always believed that children are innocent and whatever they say are true and honest and without lies or make beliefs. So, to be able to read Colton's first account of what he experienced when he was in heaven was just amazing. I do feel envy that he gets to experience all this but I'm truly happy that what he experienced and relate back in this book is confirmation of what was written in the bible.

I hope to be able to share this book with my kids when they are old enough to understand about heaven and all.

You can get this book from Thomas Nelson website, Amazon and many more.
