Hide and Seek

~ Posted on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 9:07 AM ~

I was checking my emails and Ben was playing by himself and after a few seconds, I realised the room was quiet. Really quiet. I turned around, still sitting on my chair and looked out for Ben. He's nowhere to be found in the room at one glance. Our bedroom and bathroom doors are closed and I'm not worried with Ben going out as he has yet to master the door opening skill..

So where is he??

Then I looked at our spare bed on the floor and realised the spare mini mattress (Ben used it when he was like 2 months old) is a bit neat. TOO NEAT. Something's not right with it. I grabbed my camera, and waited...

I waited a while more and suddenly, this cheeky face appeared!

He has been hiding under the mattress hoping I won't find him!

When he realised he's been found, he tried to hide himself again.

And realised he can't repeat the same trick now that mummy knows it.

So he rolled on to his sides and proceed to play other stuff...

Cheeky fella...

So what about you? Have you encountered funny and cute situations like this?

Where did your child hid him/herself?

LOL. He is really cheeky. Mine is a bit of role reversal because I'm the one hiding. Laughing

Hehe! Cheeky Benpire!

Our Isabelle likes to hide behind the curtains. Smile  I should blog about that soon before my memory fails me.

Hi Katie!
Thanks for hopping over and for your compliments! Have a nice day! Smile

Hi Carolyn!
Heheh.. I once read this joke that parents hiding from their children. It goes something like this:

1st baby: You spend a good bit of every day just gazing at the baby.
2nd baby: You spend a bit of every day watching to be sure your older child isn't squeezing, poking, or hitting the baby.
3rd baby: You spend a little bit of every day hiding from the children.

Hey Catheryn!
Yes, go blog about it before you forget!

My girls are the silliest hiders. When we play hide-and-seek, they'll hide behind a book (as in they just stand there with a book covering their faces). Or they'll take a throw pillow and do the same. They need some hide-and-seek training from Ben!
