What's Your Favorite Fix-It-All Product?

Oh my... I was feeling pretty restless a few days earlier... why you ask? It is because I'm running low - really low on my favorite fix-it-all product. I feel so empty and useless as I see it getting lesser and lesser by the day... What's my  favorite fix-it-all product you ask?

This, my dear friends, is the wonderful and awesome product called 'MASKING TAPE'.

No, please, I don't use it to tape Ben. Or his mouth. Or whatever ONTO him.

Now, what do I use it for? Ta - daaaaaaaaaa!!!!

Taping Ben's makeshift Lightning McQueen HELMET...

Taping Ben's cardboard playmat which was DIY-ed by daddy...

Taping Ben's favorite toy gun...

Taping Ben's ride-on car...

I hope it doesn't seem like we're too poor to buy new toys to replace the broken ones. It's just that Ben loves his toys too much to part with it, so no choice, I've gotta McGyverise and tape whatever that broke, tear, split, etc etc...

Thank God we finally did our grocery shopping (normally twice a month at Tesco) and I managed to get TWO new masking tapes. Too bad there's no black color available. But I'd rather forego the cool suave black color and go for the available blue ones than to risk not having any and seeing Ben wailing at me when his toys broke down.

So, there you have it. My favorite fix-it-all product.

What about you? Do you have any favorite fix-it-all product?

My Fix-it-all product overall = double sided tape

My Fix-it-all product in kitchen and cleaning = bleach!

Alison@Mama Wants This

Masking tape is super useful.

I don't have a fix-it-all product - just goes to show I don't do much fixing around the house *ahem*.

I do have a must-have product - batteries. Kid's toys? All need batteries. Argh.

Hey Catheryn!
Double sided tape I only used for Ben's artwork hahaha..

Hi Alison@Mama Wants This!
I leave the batteries part to my hubby. Wouldn't want to keep any batteries in our room (worried Ben might play with it and accidentally swallowed it) Thanks for sharing your feedback! Smile

Erm, I don't usually fix a lot of things but if I do it'd be super glue I think.

Hey Germaine!
Super glue too slow to work, masking tape faster! Tong

Masking tape would be pretty high up there. For cleaning everthing around the house, I feel really lost without my Windex, I'm happiest when I'm spraying everything in site!!! Lol!! Thanks for a fun post!!

Hi Kathy!
Thanks for dropping by and sharing your feedback! Smile

My go-to fix it is clear packing tape.  Perfect for fixing books that seem to get ripped by small hands eager to see what happens next Smile

Rose

Hahhaha!  VEry useful resources, Ms McGyver!  Lol!

As for me, it would be cellotape or super glue.  Otherwise, I just keep the spoiled toys in container if the kids can't part with their favourite toys.

Hey Aurie!
Thanks for sharing your fave fix it all product! Smile

Hey Rose!
I use cellotape too but more for smaller fixes like books or to cover holes or something. Thanks for sharing your fave fix it all product! Smile

Tracy

Smart choice, babe. I LOVE masking tape too!

Dominique

I use masking tape too.. it really helps to fix up stuff.. other handy items which I have on hand is blue tack.

Hey Tracy & Dominique!
Oh yeah! Same masking tape gang! Hahaha... thanks for sharing your feedback! Smile

Carolyn

I don't use masking tape maybe coz it's black and it look too prominent? lol. More of a double sided tape person, cellotape and UHU glue person. Smile
