The Look of Pure Happiness & Joy!

~ Posted on Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at 12:21 PM ~

I just love seeing the look of pure happiness and joy on Ben's face!

Pictures below taken by hubby while Ben was seated on my lap (we were at the swing) during our family outing at our usual playground park.

As usual, Ben loves swinging his feet up high...

Also, we have just started giving Ben a tablespoon of Scott's Emulsion every morning after his breakfast.

He just loves it so much!!!!

Picture below is the 1st time we showed him the bottle, which he inspects with full curiousity...

If you could see how his face lit up everytime he sees that bottle...

Ahhhh, what blissful sight!!

I'll try to record it one of this days for you guys to see if possible.

Meanwhile, I'm just going to sit back and bask in this aura of happiness and joy radiating from my dearest little man!

The Beauty of Co-Sleeping...

~ Posted on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 1:12 AM ~

Ben co-sleeps with hubby and myself - even today, at 17 months plus...

(it's so convenient cos' I'm still breastfeeding Ben anyway!)

I'm a full-time mummy

Picture above of Ben (4 days old) sleeping next to his tired mummy...

We initially placed him in the baby crib but he nursed almost every 1-2 hours during the first week and I got real tired having to wake up, bend over, carried Ben out, nursed him, then put him back to the crib, and try to sleep again. You see, I'm a light sleeper so any slight sound or movement will make me awake...

One time when I was really really tired, I carried Ben out during one of his nursing time, lie on my side, placed Ben next to me and continue sleeping and he just nursed on. After that time, I repeated it again, and Ben continued nursing while he's asleep (I found out much later that it's called dream feeding) and so, the story of how we all ended up sleeping on the same bed begins...

Seeing this comic brings me smiles cos this is how it is when we all co-sleep at night... Of course, most of the time hubby ended up sleeping on the single bed which is right next to our King sized bed,all thanks to Benjamin who conquered most of the bed space!

Now, during the day time when Ben takes his nap, his sleeping styles are also a fun thing to watch!

Hahahah... Enjoy!

Off On A New Adventure!

~ Posted on Friday, August 13, 2010 at 12:25 AM ~

Ladies and gentlemen!

I would like to announce that I'll be embarking on a new adventure (Ok, Ok, my personal project) one of this days, so I'm going to tone down the frequency of my blogging (currently is daily except Sundays).

But that doesn't mean I'm going to disappear altogether... I'm just going to be busier with my own project (no, no, not another blog... I know the last time I mentioned something about being involved in a personal project and the next thing you see is me coming up with my own domain and self hosted website! But for this round, nope, no new blog, so don't worry!)

You see, I've just purchased these 2 books:

This will be the first step towards my adventure into baking world!

I'm so freaking excited! And I'm only armed with this 2 books for now!

(Wait til I get the oven, then I'll be super excited! :P)

I know I have zero knowledge in baking (hence the books duh!) and I know I don't cook for adults much (I do cook for Ben's solids!) so I want to make this work! I've searched around on the Net for more info I can find on baking but there's so many conflicting and not to mention confusing information out there.

I want to know what type of ovens I should get, what are the essentials equipments, ingredients, yada yada yada...

So, these 2 books are going to help me (hopefully!)

Once we get around to purchasing the oven (advance thanks to hubby for the encouragement and sponsor! Hehehehe!), baking equipments and settle down for some easy peasy recipes, I'll blog more about my baking adventures.

Until then, it is back to normal blogging topics about Ben, our family, our life, whatever I came across...

I just wanted to keep you all in the loop about my new adventure!

Wish me luck!
